I grew up in Raleigh, NC where I was surrounded by family members mainly in the military, medical, and the education field. Finding my own path through the arts and within photography, not only brought a tremendous amount of joy into my life, but it also shaped my identity. I used to be so shy, I would only take self-portraits or images of nature. After a while, I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone and start connecting with models and artists in my community to create beautiful portraits. It was then where my passion really started to grow and I fell in love with the process and the story behind the people I take pictures of.
